Washington DC - The body of the leader of Al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden directly buried in the Arabian Sea shortly after being shot by the U.S. military (U.S.) in Abbottabad, Pakistan. U.S. treatment was different on the two sons of Saddam Hussein, Uday and Qusay were shot at in 2003. Their photos on display.
These different treatments asked by reporters at the White House press briefing with White House spokesman Jim Carney, as reported from the White House's Web site on Wednesday (04/05/2011).
"Government has previously released photos of high-level targets, Uday and Qusay Hussein are 2 examples. And it was never a problem, as far as I know. Why are you not releasing the photos of bin Laden," said one journalist.
"To be clear, there are sensitive issues related to the fit to release photographs of Osama bin Laden after the shootout. And we make an evaluation regarding the need for it because of this sensitivity," said Carney.
Party White House also, added Carney, will evaluate, review and take into account the risks faced by the United States if released photographs of bin Laden, both domestically and worldwide.
"Pretty fair to say that it's a horrible picture," said Carney who added a photo of Osama could also trigger stirring.
U.S. has released photographs of Saddam Hussein's sons Uday and Qusay, both after the shot and as well as those already cleaned his body. Uday after shot looks bald, bearded and whiskered thick, face bruised and bloody.
Qusay, Uday's sister, looked bruised and bleeding in the eye. Qusay mouth slightly open until you see his teeth. Qusay's face is far more intact than Uday.
Uday and Qusay were killed on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 when 200 U.S. military personnel raided a house in Mosul, where they live. Photos of Uday and Qusay then circulated 3 days thereafter.
